Class 1 Bluetooth device for a cable-free communication link with a Bluetooth enabled PDA or laptop. Powered by the reader via pin 9 of the DB9 connector. Adds Bluetooth wireless capability to readers in metal enclosures with an external antenna.

Requires drilling hole in enclosure lid for antenna. Installation instructions are included.
